Puerto Vallarta Tops the List of Most Desired Summer Vacation Destinations

PUERTO VALLARTA (PVDN) – Amid a surge in demand for vacation reservations and inquiries, Puerto Vallarta has emerged as the top choice for summer tourists, according to several companies in the tourism sector.

PriceTravel Holding, a travel marketing company and one of the most recognized and innovative travel agencies in Mexico and Latin America anticipate a busy season as they prepare to transport thousands of travelers to Mexico’s best beaches.

Online Sales Manager of PriceTravel, Mariano García, highlighted that popular destinations among clients include Cancun, Riviera Maya, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, and Huatulco. PriceTravel’s reports suggest an anticipated increase in hotel night sales of over 35% for the upcoming holiday period compared to the same period last year.

“Beach destinations are undeniably driving this growth in sales, however, we’re also seeing a bounce in reservations for places like Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mérida, and Veracruz,” García noted. “In addition, international destinations like Las Vegas, Punta Cana, Orlando, New York, and Madrid are also seeing a surge in interest.”

Beyond the online platform, PriceTravel facilitates sales through a call center and several physical sales points located in major shopping centers. Offering more than 250,000 lodging options in over 120 global destinations, PriceTravel ensures that clients can book their perfect holiday from virtually anywhere.

The travel rate aggregator and travel metasearch engine, Booking.com, recently announced Puerto Vallarta’s rising popularity among Mexicans planning their summer vacations. According to a study by Allianz Travel, Puerto Vallarta has also made it to the top 10 favorite tourist destinations for Americans planning their summer trips.

The tourism industry is anticipating a bustling summer season as Puerto Vallarta continues to ascend in popularity among national and international vacationers alike. As more travelers flock to Puerto Vallarta and other favorite spots, the surge promises a much-needed boost to the local economies and a resurgence of the tourism industry.
