Rain shortage in Puerto Vallarta this season affects available drinking water

Rains recorded during this season in Puerto Vallarta have been insufficient to increase the availability of potable water, said César Abarca Gutiérrez, director of the Drinking Water, Drainage and Sewerage Services (SEAPAL) Vallarta.

The head of the department said that this year has been one of the driest in the last 20 years in Puerto Vallarta and the North Coast region, which has prevented the recharge of wells and sources of water.
