First drowning of the Semana Santa holidays in Puerto Vallarta

A 38-year-old man from the State of Mexico drowned on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, despite the efforts of rescuers to save his life.

This is the first drowning of the Easter and Holy Week holiday period in Puerto Vallarta this year.

Civil Protection personnel from Puerto Vallarta reported that the incident occurred around 5:00 pm, at Playa Amapas, near Sagitario Street, south of Playa Los Muertos.
