Puerto Vallarta Efficient Services Directorate tackles clandestine dumps in Puerto Vallarta, collecting up to 10 tons of junk daily and urging residents to use the city’s sanitary landfill.

Crews from the Puerto Vallarta Efficient Services Directorate uncovered at least five large clandestine dumps in just one week. They removed several tons of garbage, debris and old furniture from unauthorized sites. Local officials now warn that these secret drop-off points harm the environment and drive up cleanup costs.
