Southwest Airlines announced new year-round nonstop flights to Puerto Vallarta from San Diego on Monday morning. The new flights will be available twice a week on Saturday and Sunday, starting March 10, 2018.
“The international service we are providing has really resonated with our customers, and Cabo was the most popular destination our customers requested, and Puerto Vallarta was next,” said Leah Koontz, Vice President Controller for Southwest.
Alaska Airlines is the only other airline operating nonstop flights to Puerto Vallarta from San Diego.
The announcement comes just months after the airline debuted nonstop flights to Cabo San Lucas . . .
