Los Muertos Beach

Los Muertos Beach – or Playa de los Muertos – may not sound like the most promising place for a day by the sand, but for an authentic and truly lively Puerto Vallarta beach experience, it can’t be beat.

Los Muertos Beach is the most active beach along Banderas Bay offering Parasailing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, flyboarding, and for the daring how about a skydive over the beach?

There is always something happening along the most famous beach in Puerto Vallarta, and of course you must walk the new Los Muertos Pier.

The gay-friendly stretch of sand fronts a pier and moored excursion boats, and is lined with bars and cafes. Locals and families also love this beach, and the diversity of the crowd is part of its appeal.

Los Muertos is located in the Romantic Zone, making a great transition from beach to dining and nightlife with Puerto Vallarta’s “restaurant row” just a block from the beach.
