The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) has announced a scheduled power outage in downtown Puerto Vallarta tomorrow, Thursday, March 20, 2025, to perform maintenance work on its facilities. According to flyers distributed to local residents and businesses, the interruption will affect a section of downtown from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“Dear customer, please be advised that on Thursday, March 20, 2025, maintenance work will be carried out on our facilities, resulting in an interruption of electricity service (Juárez, Morelos, and Paseo Díaz Ordaz streets between Allende and Pípila), from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,” reads the CFE notice.
Dozens of businesses, residents, and passersby in the affected area are expected to experience disruptions, prompting the CFE to recommend taking precautions and planning ahead for any activities requiring power.
