These events promise an unforgettable experience for food enthusiasts.

The festivities will kick off this Friday, marking the beginning of a holiday weekend, with “Sabores en Competencia” set to take place at Hidalgo Park. The event is anticipated to draw locals and visitors alike, offering a unique taste of the region’s culinary expertise.

Continuing the gastronomic celebration, the “Damajuana de la Raicilla Festival” will take center stage on Saturday and Sunday, hosted on the iconic island of the Cuale River. This festival is dedicated to Raicilla, a traditional Mexican spirit that has been gaining popularity among connoisseurs and is deeply rooted in the region’s culture.

Adding to the weekend’s festivities, the Vallarta Nayarit Gastronomic Club is organizing an event at Los Mangos Library on Sunday, further highlighting the area’s commitment to culinary excellence.

Looking ahead to the following weekend, which marks the start of the vacation period, Jorge Carbajal Díaz, President of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Foods Industry (Canirac) in Puerto Vallarta, revealed that the eagerly anticipated Taco Festival will take place in Hidalgo Park. The festival promises to be a treat for vacationers, showcasing a variety of tacos, a staple of Mexican cuisine.
