Although officials have not yet released detailed information regarding the damage caused by the fires, satellite images reveal significant areas impacted by the infernos. The widespread burning appears to be influencing air quality in the region, with Puerto Vallarta recording a “moderate” pollution level of 55 ICA this Thursday, following a series of relatively clear days.
Fire control efforts remain in full swing as teams work tirelessly to ensure that the remaining hotspots are fully extinguished. Residents and local authorities alike are closely monitoring the evolving situation, hopeful that these decisive measures will soon bring the crisis to an end.
