As of this week, 45 more buses will begin to circulate on public transportation in Puerto Vallarta in order to improve service and meet user demand.
This was announced by Luis Romero Chávez, president of Transporte Costa-Pacífico UnibusPV, the city’s transport concessionaire.
“We brought 45 units from Guadalajara, which will begin to be seen circulating in the city, 20 white and 25 green, why green? Well, because we don’t want to stop the service, we don’t have time to paint them anymore,” explained Romero Chávez.
Another of the complaints of the users is the lack of air conditioning in the units, therefore, he assured that this will be resolved soon, since they have a supplier in the company, which will begin to repair the broken air of the units.
Romero Chávez thanked the users for their understanding, but explained that the delay in putting the units into circulation is due to the fact that they run on natural gas and spare parts are very scarce.
He also indicated that each unit already has free internet service, which can be accessed through the password that is displayed in each vehicle.
