Seapal Vallarta Race Returns in 2025 to Celebrate World Water Day with Record Participation

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The highly anticipated Seapal Vallarta Race is set to make a grand return in 2025, marking the culmination of World Water Day celebrations on March 23. This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever, with a record-breaking 850 competitors expected to participate in the iconic race, which has become a staple of Vallarta’s sporting calendar.

Registration for the race is now open at Seapal Vallarta offices located at the central facilities on Francisco Villa Avenue and Ávila Camacho, as well as at El Pitillal Centro (Prisciliano Sánchez Avenue 720) and Ixtapa Centro (Mexico Street 164). Participants can also find detailed information on the organization’s website and official social media accounts.

The Seapal Vallarta Race, renowned for its scenic route and competitive spirit, will once again offer two distance categories: 21 kilometers and 5 kilometers. The race will follow its traditional course, starting and finishing on Francisco Medina Ascencio Avenue at the esplanade of the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Unit. The route will take runners along the picturesque northern hotel strip of Vallarta, offering stunning views of the destination’s coastline.

Early registration is encouraged, as fees will increase over the coming months. The entry fee for January is set at 350, rising to 400 in February and $450 in March. Organizers are urging participants to secure their spots early to take advantage of the lower rates.

The Seapal Vallarta Race has grown in popularity over the years, becoming a symbol of community spirit and environmental awareness. By aligning with World Water Day, the event highlights the importance of water conservation and sustainable practices, themes that resonate deeply with both participants and spectators.

“This race is more than just a sporting event; it’s a celebration of our connection to water and the environment,” said a spokesperson for Seapal Vallarta. “We’re thrilled to welcome back competitors and spectators alike for what promises to be an unforgettable day.”

For those interested in joining the race or learning more, the full call for applications is available on the organization’s website and social media platforms. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-time participant, the Seapal Vallarta Race offers an opportunity to challenge yourself, enjoy the beauty of Vallarta, and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Mark your calendars for March 23, 2025, and be part of this iconic event that combines sport, community, and environmental stewardship.
