Tour Guide From Nexus Touris in Puerto Vallarta Assaults Tourist at Airport (VIDEO)

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Welcome to Puerto Vallarta! A video circulating social media reveals a concerning incident at the Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta, involving a tour guide from Nexus Tours, engaging in a physical fight with an individual presumed to be a tourist. The 42-second video captures the intense exchange, unfolding near the main exits of the airport, with numerous bystanders—including families with young children—witnessing the scuffle with a tour guide from Nexus Tours attacking a tourist.

In the recording, the tour guide, identifiable by his orange uniform, is seen exchanging blows with a man dressed in casual attire, including a sleeveless shirt. The altercation, seemingly heated, escalates quickly as both individuals grapple in front of the bustling airport’s entryway. Several onlookers, visibly shocked by the altercation, refrained from intervening; however, one witness voiced their disapproval by exclaiming, “That is not done.”

Witnesses at the scene have identified the guide as “Tadeo,” an employee of Nexus Tours, a popular tour company known for organizing excursions across Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding region. Despite attempts to de-escalate the situation, Tadeo can be seen in the video repeatedly lunging toward the man involved, intensifying the chaotic scene in an area frequented by tourists.

Local authorities have not yet commented on the incident, and Nexus Tours has yet to release an official statement regarding the actions of their employee or any potential disciplinary measures that might follow. The video has sparked a wave of discussion online, raising questions about the safety protocols and training provided to employees working in high-tourism areas, especially in international transit points where first impressions matter significantly for tourists.

As Puerto Vallarta remains one of Mexico’s top destinations, such incidents highlight the need for ongoing evaluation of employee training, conflict resolution skills, and the responsibilities of tour operators. Local authorities and tourism agencies may need to consider new measures to ensure the safety and well-being of both tourists and employees.
